IBN & Corona

It goes without saying that at IBN we are keeping a close watch on all the news concerning the coronavirus. We are following the RIVM advice to prevent further spread of the virus. We are taking measures to find the best possible solution for everyone. On this special page you can read about how we are dealing with this situation at IBN.

A list of the measures

In the various business units, everyone is working hard to get as much work done as is possible, even though there are people off ill and absent. Our highest priority is to prevent the further spread of the virus. In addition, we are attempting where possible to allow work to proceed. In the workplaces special measures are being taken for everyone’s health.

This means that there is more distance between colleagues, that people who can, work from home, that meetings take place on the telephone or do not take place at all, and that through constant adaptations to planning, the management are attempting to organise supervision in various places and there is constant consultation with customers, suppliers and other parties. Purchasing materials, supplying products: nothing is how it was; everything has changed. Fortunately, the working atmosphere is good. We are all hard at work and everyone is prepared to help each other through this. Super! Our compliments for this! I hope and trust that we will continue to do this for the coming time.

Wishing you all the very best, perseverance and especially good health!

Keep your distance from each other

It is very important to keep your distance from each other. Draw your colleagues’ attention to this if this does not take place. In workspaces and also in the canteens. The rule is 1.5 to 2 metres from each other. If you are not concerned for yourself, then please do it for the sake of others!

All government precautions

Prevent spreading the virus

It is most important that we now prevent the further spread of the virus. So, the rule applies that anyone with symptoms does not come to work and is registered ill according to the normal rules.

The symptoms are:

  • cough
  • cold
  • a temperature (higher than 38 degrees)

Anyone without symptoms, can work: from home if possible, otherwise at your place of work where all sorts of measures have been taken. Please pay extra attention to staying 1.5 to 2 metres away from your colleagues.

There are a lot of people who are not ill but for other reasons connected with corona cannot come to work. This is being kept track of separately. When entering the hours, use code 460/‘Overig betaald verzuim’ (state the word ‘corona’ in the description if possible).
